Wedding Season is Here!
We don’t know about you, but we feel like the year is flying by. It feels like it was Mother’s Day just yesterday, and yet it’s May already, and wedding season is in full swing. May through August promise to be our busiest months in the shop. We love it though and get so much joy out of helping you all get kitted out for your big day and listening to your plans. What’s not to love.
With that said, we know that it can be a bit of a daunting task planning your groom and groomsmen outfits. That’s where we hope we can make your life a little bit easier, and to take some of the pain out of planning.
We offer a kilt hire service that includes a wee chat with a member of the team to help you perfect your outfit. After speaking to us, we can then arrange for fittings either in the shop, or at home. Our aim is to make the process as easy and enjoyable as we can for you. Wedding planning should be fun, not frantic!
Deciding on what tartan you want for you and your groomsmen can be one of the trickiest parts of it all, with whose clan tartan to wear quite often causing arguments. At Tartan Plus Tweed, we don’t stock Clan tartans, instead opting for some beautiful classic options instead. Then all you really need to think about is what colours you want to wear, are you all going to wear a matching tartan, or do you want to make a statement in something as the groom? We are happy to help with all these questions, sometimes it helps to have an extra pair of eyes, and an outside opinion or two.
